The Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention is looking for an individual and organization to take on the exciting role and rewarding challenge of serving as our new Executive Director and National Office. If you and your organization have an interest in taking on a leadership role in the field of suicide prevention, intervention and postvention(PIP) in Canada we would like to talk to you. This is an exciting time for suicide prevention, intervention and postvention in Canada and we are presenting a unique and a rare opportunity to play a central and influential role in helping shape the future direction of suicide PIP in Canada.
The national office and Executive Director are involved in developing meaningful and important relationships on a national level. Involvement will mean participating in moving suicide PIP forward in Canada and will be of enormous benefit in helping your organization realize its goals and mission in the goal of moving PIP to new heights.
Prospective candidates have a thorough knowledge of suicide prevention, intervention and postvention, and have demonstrated experience in community development, resource and program development, knowledge transfer and building effective partnerships with diverse populations and stakeholders.
