Alexia Marsillo, Director


As a communications advisor and freelance writer, Alexia Marsillo is skilled in journalism, communications, and media relations. Her professional experience and her lived experience with suicide loss has led to her devotion for mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and life promotion. She is particularly interested in raising awareness about the way in which we talk about suicide and portray it in the media, as well as the importance of an intersectional approach to mental health education. 

Alexia is based in Montréal, Québec and is bilingual in English and French. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and has work experience as a reporter, freelance writer, and communications specialist. She also has volunteer experience in mental health and anti-racism initiatives.
