CASP presents Healing Day 2022!
Tuesday, May 10, 2022, 10:30 AM – 4:15 PM (Lunch will be provided)
CRISE-UQAM
100, Sherbrooke St. West
Montréal, Québec H2X 3P2
This pre-conference session will feature presentations, activities and workshops following three audience streams:
- People with lived/living experience of suicide-related behaviours
- People bereaved by suicide
- People who support someone with suicide-related behaviours
Healing Day is an opportunity for people with lived experience of suicide to connect with one another and focus on wellness, healing, hope, and life promotion in an intimate yet powerful setting.
The intention is to provide people with lived experience of suicide with potentially new tools and resources to explore their experiences in a way that promotes healing. Both French and English sessions will be offered.
Scheduled purposefully as a pre-conference, Healing Day is to ensure lived experience is at the centre of our conversations. It will also provide an opportunity for participants to obtain tools and strategies that can be used to maintain wellness and balance throughout the conference and beyond.
IMPORTANT: The current rules no longer require vaccination against COVID-19 for participating in the conference. Wearing a surgical mask remains mandatory. All participants will be notified if there is a change in safety protocols.
We hope to see you at the 2022 National Conference on Suicide Prevention from May 11-13, 2022 in Montreal!
