Suicide Bereavement Support Groups: Guide
This guide presents promising strategies and best practices for facilitating safe and effective suicide bereavement support groups. It is intended for organizations and/or group facilitators that are currently operating or interested in starting a suicide bereavement support group.
Developed in partnership by CASP and the Centre for Suicide Prevention, the focus of this guide is on closed groups. Also note, this is the short version of the Guide, and a long version will be made available in the coming months.
We anticipate creating a separate, but complementary, guide that will focus on open groups in 2025.
