Julie Savard-Shaw is the Executive Director of The Prosperity Project, a national charity advancing women’s economic empowerment and leadership. She brings deep expertise in government relations, board governance, and cross-sector collaboration, working closely with corporate leaders, policymakers, and community organizations to drive systemic change.
Julie has held senior roles in both government and the non-profit sector, shaping gender equality initiatives at the highest levels and building national campaigns that mobilized significant public and private investment.
Her leadership is also deeply informed by lived experience. Julie has long been an advocate for mental health, having faced her own struggles and been profoundly impacted by the loss of a close friend to suicide at a young age. She speaks openly about the importance of well-being, resilience, and creating environments where people can truly thrive.
Passionate about community building, Julie has served on boards and advisory committees in Canada and abroad, and co-founded a music school in rural Peru that provides youth with opportunities for growth and connection through music.
She holds a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management and a Master of International Affairs.
